Outwell Norwood 6 is a spacious tent with three sleeping areas, a bright and pleasant living area and an extra room without a floor in the front that can be used as a sheltered patio or for equipment. A principle that is common in England and is usually called the outer room, inner room and sleeping area. The main part of the tent with the inner tent and the living area has a completely attached floor, which protects against cold drafts, small insects and condensation. A property that provides significantly better comfort if you want to sit in the tent and spend evenings or days with worse weather and also a better climate in the tent during cooler nights. Dark sleeping areas protect against morning sun and provide the extra comfort you seek during the camping holiday.

The big news for 2023 is Outwell Quick & Quiet Access, the door between the two family rooms has a magnetic strip in the middle that creates a position where it can be opened and closed without using the zipper. Perfect for those occasions when you want to be able to quickly and easily get between rooms or in and out of the tent without rolling up the doors.

About Outwell Norwood 6 Family Tent

Outwell Norwood 6 is a family tent adapted for families or groups of up to six people in 3 sleeping areas. The fact that it has three sleeping areas makes it a popular tent for families with older children. The tent is based on three zones, which is a principle that is common in England and is usually called the outer room, inner room and sleeping area.  

Thanks to colour-marked poles, the tent, despite its size, is easy to assemble. In addition to the simple assembly, the tent has a durable tent fabric that not only withstands rain and wind but also rustles less than simpler fabrics when it moves. Large windows provide a bright and pleasant tent and if you want to reduce transparency, there are curtains on all windows.

The family tent has two doors, one on the side and a large front. The side entrance makes the tent's inner living area easily accessible and facilitates placement on the campsite and can also be opened on hot days to ventilate the tent. The large opening at the front covers the entire front so it is easy to open up the tent completely and use the living area as a sheltered conservatory.

Outwell Quick & Quiet Access
The door between the living room and the outer room and the door to one of the bedrooms has a magnetic strip in addition to the zipper, so it can be opened and closed without a zipper. A solution that makes it easy to get between the rooms of the tent, to get in and out of the sleeping cabin without waking the rest of the family and to get in and out of the tent without having to use the zipper (if the outer door is open).


Outwell Crossflow Ventilation
The ventilation at the back can be opened up completely to create extra air flow in the tent during hot days or in the morning. As well, the ventilation at the front is substantially increased in order to get a better continuous flow. As the family tent's three openings also have mesh doors, you can open the tent completely to keep the temperature in the tent down, even if there are a lot of small insects on the move. Perfect for really hot days or for those who camp in warmer countries.

 

The living areas

The tent has two rooms for socialising. Both rooms are spacious and it is also possible to open the door between the two rooms to use the whole tent. Large tinted windows along the sides and the panoramic windows at the front provide a very pleasant light while shielding occupants from view. The tent's windows are also equipped with folding curtains, which makes it easy to choose how much light or transparency you want.

The outer room can easily be opened up and used for eating or socialising in protected from sun and wind and thanks to the mesh door you can also protect yourself if there are small insects on the go. If you want a floor in the outer room as well, you can buy a footprint (not included). 

The inner room has a completely sealed floor. By closing the door to the outer room, you can then ensure that no cold drafts occur or any small insects enter. A much appreciated quality in the evening or in bad weather. Both rooms are great for furnishing.  

Outwell HookTrack System
The Outwell HookTrack System makes it easy to attach lamps or other accessories to the tent. The included hooks also make it possible to hang equipment or clothes in the tent.
 

The inner tents

The inner tent is divided into three sleeping areas (2 + 2 + 2). A heavier dark fabric in the inner tent and in the outer tent fabric over the inner tent reduces the effect of many tent campers' worst enemy, the morning sun. The inner tent also has a curtain that can be rolled down over the ventilation opening to reduce the light that enters via the valve.

In addition to the zip, the master sleeping area has a magnetic strip so that the door can be opened and closed without a zip (Outwell Quick & Quiet Inner door). A solution that allows you to get in and out of the sleeping area without waking the rest of the family. 

 

Other:

The tent fabric is completely waterproof with taped seams and is treated with flame-retardant. The inner tent is pre-assembled on delivery and does not need to be detached when the tent is packed. The poles are colour-coded for easier installation.
